EDISON & PATTON
A local Houston restaurant for people to step out of their busy lives and into a place where they can just be themselves, share stories, ideas, and just have fun. The Edison is first and foremost a watering hole for business people and artists, foodies and craft beer connoisseurs alike.
The food is inventive, lively, and affordable. The bar appeases the palette of craft beer and specialty drink lovers. The community and spirt of Edison will begin and spread through hospitality and graciousness.
With a beard and tattoos befitting a rockstar, Chef Jordan is one of Houston's most intriguing chefs. His bold style harmonizes with his equally bold palette, which is evident in every dish on the Edison & Patton menu.
Chef Jordan's rustic creativity in the kitchen stems from his roots in his hometown of New Orleans, where he lived until age 15. After moving to Houston, Jordan became enthralled with the kitchen lifestyle, living by his culinary mantra "This is what we do." Spending time as Sous Chef in some of Houston's most ambitious and critically-acclaimed concepts such as Boheme, Prohibition and most recently Doris Metropolitan, Chef Jordan has honed his craft as a butcher of rough protein cuts, carving out a niche in procuring the best product for his guests and manipulating it into new and exciting presentations.
Now refining his already substantial skill set at Edison & Patton and our newest addition, Calle Onze (opening May 2018), Chef Jordan is embarking on a pursuit to broaden his horizons by tackling the highly-competitive Tex-Mex dining segment while simultaneously taking Edison & Patton into undiscovered territory and building on the flavors our guests have come to know and love.
